Wedding business proposition....

Well...I am doing a lot of praying right about now!  I am having a hard time finding a job...but I possibly have a business venture that I am praying about.  Now all I need is some capital to get me going...
There is a lady here in town who wants to retire.  She's had this wedding business for 23 years and wants to quit and has a lot of inventory she wants to sell...
So I'm praying.  I have always wanted my own store....and I have altered wedding dresses, tuxedos, etc.  I need to do a LOT of praying!!!

Job Search Continues...

Nothing like trying to find a job in an economy where unemployment is record high!  But what makes it even more difficult is owning your own company - holding the title President - to all of a sudden needing a job somewhere - reducing my status to clerk.  From president - to - clerk.  Oh well!  The job hunt continues.
I have thought about staging homes for a side business on my spare time.  I love decorating!!!
I have also thought about decorating other's homes!  I do love to decorate....rearrange....create an area of interest.  I have also thought about working toward a store of my own...but that takes a LOT of capital!  I just need it to rain a milllion or so!!!  :)
That's not too much to ask - is it???
There is a wedding coordinator retiring...and I'm going to go see the store today.....I don't think I could purchase the business....but I can do wedding dress alterations - and LOVE LOVE LOVE weddings.  I love the beautiful things....flowers, dresses, bouquets, accessories, gifts.....all the pretty things!!!
I would love to own a store!!!  Even a home goods store.....in a smaller town....???  Hmmm....A wedding consignment store.....or...just plain consignment store that has a wedding apparel department....???  Such a thought!  It's BIG business!
Decisions, decisions....the hardest part about me - is that I have such a wide range of interests!  Doing something that I enjoy - and make a job of it....and I'll never have to work again!!!
Thats what I have always told my children!  Now I just need to heed some of that advice.  Meanwhile, I'm praying about which direction to go.....may the Lord lead me...and may I hear His voice telling me, "This is the way, walk in it." 
Ok....off to my search....I have to find a job!

IT'S NOT CANCER!!!! The Results are in...

It's been a painstaking 10 days of waiting and wondering....and praying a LOT about my grand daughter Rebekah's tongue biopsy for cancer!
The pathology report is back - and the results confirm that she does not have cancer!  You cannot imagine how elated we are - and thankful that God and His mighty hand has protected her!!!

Praise the Lord!!!!!

God is so good...He answered our prayers!!!

Green Smoothies.....A Healthy and delicious alternative...

I wanted to upload and post some YOUTUBE.COM videos showing the making of a green smoothie. When I looked up youtube.com - I had a hard time finding just a few videos - because there are countless videos with the making of a green smoothie. YUK?!!! YOU SAY......

It's not all that bad....in fact it is rather nutritious and I'll even go as far as saying - it's rather yummy!

We are learning as we go...but thought I'd share our little plight with you.

Today's smoothy was just delicious!

I use less spinach, parsley and cilantro and more of the pineapple....which makes it sweeter. Eventually I will get braver and use less of the fruit and more of the greens!

My recipe consists of the following: It can be made to your liking...and the only way to know what you like and dislike - is try it several ways until you get it to your liking!!! So many people will testify to it!!!

You need to have a VitaMixer or high powered blender and add the following:

1/3 pineapple (if small), or 1/4 pineapple, (if large)...core and all

1 Banana

1/2 apple, don't core...seeds, stem and all
3-4 sprigs parsley

2 sprigs cilantro

1 celery stick

2-3 large handfuls of spinach

1-2 tsp. grape seed oil, (or a handful of seeded grapes)

2 cups of ice

(If too thick add water a little at a time)

Start blending fruit in vitamixer and gradually add greens and all other ingredients.
Very nutritional and very good...I was surprised when I tasted my first green smoothie.

I'm still perfecting it and plan to add kale to try in tomorrow's smoothie.

I hope you'll give it a try. If not blended enough it will be WAY TOO chunky - so make sure you blend it a good while...2 - 3 minutes.

You can add berries for another color...strawberries, blueberries, etc. to change the color and taste. You just have to experiment, but any and all fruits, nuts, and vegetables can be added. Just create your own taste....it's wonderfully healthy and delicious too!

Chloe Grace....our soon-to-be grand daughter...

The world of technology is so amazing to me.....I have never before seen this imagery.... It's remarkable....God's handiwork!  This is the 27th gestational week and Chloe is due to make her grand appearance on or around December 11th.  I can't wait to hold that precious little hand and kiss her sweet little face!

I really don't see how anyone can say, "This is not a baby!"  If they do not think this is a baby....they are blind!

ANOTHER creepy critter...only GREEN!!!!

Oh yuk!  I discovered another creepy little....(not so little), on my plant on the back porch....And just think....I was moving my plant around!  I am sooo glad that I found it - so I could keep clear from it!  Thankfully Chris was home and helped me to remove it from my plant and relocate it in the yard!  Yuk!  I think that they are soooo creepy!  I know they're good bugs and they eat the bad bugs....but they are so creepy!  It's even worse that once they mate - the females eat the males....Ewww!  GROSS!!!

7 days to go....the countdown continues

I am happy to say that my grand daughter Rebekah is happy as a lark...talking up and storm and excitedly reported that her tongue no longer hurts her!  Thank you Jesus!
The biopsy report will come back in 7 more days.....seven agonizingly LONG days away!  It can't get here quick enough.

After observing her tongue where they did the biopsy - it's barely noticeable now.  I'm so thankful....but alarmed when my daughter reported that the areas on the tongue in question have spread further....

Meanwhile...we still wait...and we pray!
