Happy 30th Birthday Josh!

Wow...where on earth did all the years go???  I cannot believe that my baby boy is 30 years old today!  Happy Birthday Josh....I love you so very much!!!

Happy Birthday To Me......

I'm not so sure I want to count this one....but whether or not I count them - still doesn't erase the fact that many moons ago...I was born!  :)

When the nurse asked the doctor, "How much does she weigh doctor?"  He replied, "6 lbs. 7 oz."....which was right!  When the nurse ask how he knew that - he said, "I'm used to weighing fish!"

So now you know that my life began.....being compared to a fish!  Ha ha!  Oh well....

Traveling in Tennessee

There sure are some beautiful places in Tennessee!  I cannot begin to capture the essence of it all!

The Smoky Mountains definately come by their name honestly!  Smoky LOOKING!!!

Too many pictures to post.....but we totally enjoyed our drive!  Along the way we looked for land for sale as well!  Just not sure I want to live in BEAR COUNTRY!  Yikes!

The old abandoned bridge was quite a sight.....it seemed as though it was lost in time - where time actually stands still.  It was so beautiful - and so peaceful!!!

Titanic Display in Gatlinburg, TN

I've seen artifacts from the Titanic before - but they built a 1/3 replica of the famous ship!  Every January they change out the artifacts with new ones and rotate their inventory all over in various places.

It left us feeling pretty sad for those poor unfortunate souls who lost their lives......just soo many!  In such frigid waters too!!!

Traveling weekend......quite a fun Whirlwind adventure!

Steve made it home and had to check on a new job.  It was a Hardys that was situated at the Biltmore Estates entrance.  Soon after we took multiple pictures of the Hardys store so he could work on a painting estimate....we ventured into the Biltmore Estates as tourists!

I LOVE that place!!!

An 8,000 spectacularly beautiful acre estate and the largest residential dwelling in America to this day!  It was way ahead of its time.  I'm still studying the history - but it's a facsinating one!

21st Anniversary today! 21 years!

.............well.....here it is.....August 12th, 2010

21 years ago today.....my husband Steve and I were married at Central Baptist Church in Aurora, Colorado! 

  ......he remembered too......by remembering the 12 days of Christmas in August... (ha ha ha!)

.....and sent me some beautiful flowers!!!

Ohio-bound with my daughter and grand children!

After the reunion.....I drove back to Ohio with my daughter and grandchildren and stayed for a few days after.  It was then that we learned that their landlord sold the house they rented and will have to move in 2 months!  Oh my gosh!!!
But while I was there......we had a lot of fun!  Singing at a nursing home.......Going to the mall for lunch and then off to bowling, playing games, shopping for art supplies....and just plain having a memory-making time!!! 

Wilson Family Reunion 2010

It was time again for the Annual Wilson Family Reunion 2010.  This year held in Kingman, Indiana at the Wilson Farms property.  Family members from Michigan, various parts of Indiana, Ohio, Colorado and Tennessee came together for a brief 3-day encounter to catch up with one another. It was definately a whirlwind weekend - to say the least.
