Bombshell and monkey wrench in spinal surgery plans for our son!

Today we learned that our son Chris' spinal surgery will cost in excess of $50,000.00 and half of it must be paid or they will not proceed with his necessary surgery...
Soon after receiving the news....that his insurance company will only cover a small tiny fraction of the cost....$3,500.00 total...it's not nearly enough to cover the necessary expenses!

Prayers needed for sure...

Chris applied  for financial assistance to an organization called Daughters of Charity....and now we wait.....and pray.....and pray they may help with some of the finances needed to pursue the surgery.  It's been a long time running that Chris has been in such severe pain and numbness in his legs from his buldging disks that are pressing against his nerves.  Sometimes I wonder how on earth he is walking at all!!!

Happy Birthday to my Precious Chell

32 years ago today my precious daughter made her way into the world.  Today is a celebration of my daughter's life....who has grown into a fine young woman...and has granted me the  privilege of being a grandma for 4 beautiful grandchildren!  :)

Ohio bound again! Packing, Moving & a New Home

My daughter and her husband found a house in their little town - they call a village...praise the Lord....and were able to put an offer on it - to which was accepted.

Being that the baby is so demanding - Steve flew me up to help pack them out and get them ready for a yard sale.  Whew!  What a week!!!

But - we got to see the house, and the yard sale helped eliminate her things - as they're down-sizing - and also put some extra money in their pockets!

We had a good week....all except ALL the spiders that currently reside in the house they are moving out of!  Ahhhh!  The house is infested....and even Raid didn't kill them.  Yikes!  I'll be sooo glad when they can finally move from that house and all its mold, leaks, wiring problems, and spiders - not to mention HUGE centipedes!  Ewww!

Ok...on to more pleasant thoughts!  The new house is cute!!!  Small...but cute!
