Colorful Colorado bound....and back!

I love the Colorado Rocky Mountains!  But what's even greater are the friends that live there!

I sure did enjoy my visit!

We ventured to the Rocky Mountain National Park and saw elk bugling!

It was a perfect day!

Ahh hemmm...all except some individual that kept sticking their tongue OUT on various pictures!  They will remain nameless....................

Happy 29th Birthday to my son Matthew!

Wow!  I can hardly believe that it's been 29 years since the day I bake apple pies and banana bread ALL DAY LONG!  I had a bushel of apples and a bunch of bananas - and I rolled out pie dough all day long....and baked....baked...and baked some more!  I knew I was in labor...and I didn't want to have apples to work on when I got back from the hospital.  Maybe that's why he likes to cook.  Ha ha!

My son Matt....I am soo proud of him.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT!

I LOVE YOU AND AM SO VERY PROUD OF YOU!!!

BUT...

Richardson's Move to their New Home....

Cute Kitchen

Sweet living room is combined with the dining room

Dress up NOOK...perfect for all their "Let's pretend" times of play

The new dining room doubles as the music  room
It's been a long and hard 2 weeks of packing up boxes, garage sale for unwanted items, and loading up the trucks to move all their belongings and unpack, organize and rearrange household furnishings - but we did it in record time thanks to all their church folks who came to assist in the moving process.  Also thanks for all those who cleaned the old, cleaned the new and helped unload all those boxes!  We lost count with how many all together - but there were a ton of them!!!  Whew!

Thankfully, my daughter and family are now settled in to their new home!  It's really a cute house!!!  And they couldn't be more excited.

However, I have resolved to believe that Ohio is the spider capitol of  the world!  Yikes!  I've seen more spiders in the few weeks with them - than I have in my entire lifetime combined!  Ewww!  Needless to say, I didn't sleep well!!!  But hopefully with a LOT of Sevin granuals and Bayer spider wash stuff....they will eliminate the yukky critters!  Such pests!
