Steve and my 20th wedding anniversary celebration at Patti's 1880's Settlement in Grand Rivers, Kentucky

To our surprise...the ladies came to sing to us for our anniversary...they sang..."Let me call you Sweetheart" It was so fun!

Today marks the 20th year anniversary that Steve and I were married.
So to celebrate this 2o years of marriage - we decided to check out Patti's 1880's Settlement in Grand Rivers, Kentucky.
A while back we flew into the airport near Patti's - and I've wanted to go ever since.
So we made reservations - and flew 45 minutes north to Grand Rivers, Kentucky.
We learned later that it's a very populated tourist town, but due the school year starting earlier than normal - the tourism has substantially slowed down. Great for us...the restaurant wasn't completely packed. But to our surprise - the restaurant was absolutely breath-takingly beautiful!!!
After eating at Patti's and touring the restaurant and settlement - I now want to find reasons to go back. It was by far the best anniversary that Steve and I have ever celebrated! What a neat place! What a neat town too!
Patti's began a long time ago as a hotdog stand - and grew to what it is now.....an 1880's Settlement...later they added Bill's Place to handle the overflow.

A monument in memory of the founders...Bill and Patti...they must have been some of the neatest people. I loved this place - and plan to return as soon as possible.
