New Year's Day Blunders and Mishaps!

Well it seemed like the perfect non-working day to take care of home projects.

So Steve and Josh went to Lowes to get the necessary materials to floor our attic - while Chris and I cleaned the attic out.

It seemed like all was going well . . . when we heard a ka - thud - boom - bang - boom!

There were some other moans too - that added to the sounds - and we soon learned that Steve's foot went through the ceiling!

Thank goodness that he's okay and although a little sore - he didn't break his leg!

Meanwhile however, Josh's bedroom ceiling - now has a nice big hole and new-found airconditioning flowing from the ceiling! Guess we'll be fixing the ceiling as well as flooring the attic! Oh well . . . so much for home projects!
