Caroline Suiter July 27, 1939 to October 21, 2008

Caroline Suiter, 69, of Crawfordsville, Indiana died peacefully 6:43 Tuesday morning at her home, with her family by her side.

She was born July 27th, 1939 in Scott County, Indiana to Roy and Bessie Wilson. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1957 and has lived in Crawfordsville most of her life. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

All who were blessed to know Caroline would agree that she was given a gift of uplifting and encouraging others. She always regarded her physical challenges as non-important and resonated a loving, cheerful, and positive attitude. Her presence will be sorely missed by her friends, loved ones, her children, grandchildren and especially her beloved grand-daughter, Camella Wilkins whom she raised.

She is survived by Gordon, her husband of 50 years, son Mark (Sherri) Suiter of Crawfordsville, daughter Kristen (David) Jahn of Sarasota, Florida, and granchildren Camella Wilkins of Crawfordsville of Indiana, Daniel (Hirra) Suiter of Lafayette, Jennifer (Bill) Draper of Lafayette, Mattaniah Jahn of Sarasota, Florida and great-grandson Ethan Suiter.

She is also survived by her father, Roy Wilson, sisters Doris (Charles) Crispin of Monticello, Indiana; her twin sister Catherine (Paul) Williams of Beachwood, Ohio, Evangeline (Fouad) Hawa of Evansville, Indiana, Karen (Robert) Hoff of Nashville, Tennessee and brothers David (Ann) Wilson of Kingman, Indiana, James (Stephanie) Wilson of Fort Gaines, Georgia and Stephen (Cynthia) Wilson of Portland, Tennessee.

Her daughter Kim Suiter, mother Bessie Wilson, and brother Paul Wilson preceded her in death.

VISITATION will be Friday, October 24 from 4:00-8:00pm. Funeral Servicers will be held Saturday, October 25, 11:00 am with Reverend Gregory Hackett officiating. burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Crawfordsville. Services provided by the Powers Priebe Funeral Home, 135 S. Washington Street in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
