I couldn't help myself - going through the Christmas decorations trying to figure out what to keep - what to throw away - what to give away . . . . You know . . . that downsizing thing again!
So - I started putting up what I wanted to keep! How else was I to know what would fit - and wouldn't unless I put it up?!!! So I did. Our 12' tree looks more like a 15' tree and it's sooooo beautiful! Josh helped me put it up and decorate it. I couldn't get the angel on the top - even with a 10' ladder!
I LOVE CHRISTMAS!
If we could have Christmas all year long - I'd do it. It's my favorite holiday! I love the lights, the smells, the trees, the family and friends coming together and playing music, singing, the laughter and excitement of friends, family, and grandchildren opening their gifts . . . .but my favorite part of everything is celebrating Jesus' birth! Complete with a special birthday cake for our Guest of Honor - and reminisquing over yet another thankful year that God has granted us.
